Stand-Up Comedy Leaves Cameron's Credibility In Tatters

Watching Cameron's promises to hold a referendum on transfer of powers to Europe, when the Lisbon Treaty was finally ratified, (Posted by EU Referendum today) makes me think not so much of a pledge broken, but of stand-up comedy.  Or in Hague's case, sit-down comedy.  Any credibility is gone.

I never believed him, and I don't believe the party have the courage to oust him.

Peter Hitchens is right when he says the Tories must be disolved to make room for a new genuine conservative party.

You may be right but why throw up negatives to help your enemies. Think that what you desire is possible, and then look for ways to make it happen. A defeated attitude will win no victories in politics.

I wonder, does David Cameron understand what sovereignty really is?

Will he put a clause in, giving Parliament the power to amend or reject any EU legislation or directive that comes before it?

Anyway, what is there to stop any future government repealing his UK Sovereignty Act, so they can pass another EU Treaty without holding a referendum?
