GARY SPEED DEATH SUSPICIOUS

TAP - There is a knowing look on the faces in some of these photos.
UPDATED - Ched Evans sent down.
The vendetta against Welsh football continues. Ched Evans is sent down for five years for rape. The woman clearly consented. First Gary dies. Then Verheijen goes quoting 'destructive games'. Now a stitch-up for Ched Evans. The pattern in events is obvious enough.
UPDATE 1st March 2012. Louise Speed did not attend the Gary Speed memorial match! His kids were there. His parents. His sister. All his friends and ex team mates. Very strange why his wife stayed away. Comment from Welshman.
UPDATE - 27th February 2012. Gary Speed's assistant (Raymond Verheijen) has resigned from his post as Wales manager 5 days before he was due to take charge of the team in Gary's memorial match. From comment - anonymous.
Guardian article on his resignation
EXTRACT - Verheijen posted on his Twitter account: "Earlier today I have informed the FAW I will resign. Have enough of their political & destructive games. Very sad day.
"Very proud to be part of Fifa's most improved team in 2011. Would like to thank the players and fans for an amazing journey."
TAP It still sounds like a powerful elite doing their best to stop a resurgent Welsh team from breaking onto the world scene.
COMMENT 5th February 2012- Don't you think if you knew your husband was threatening to kill himself and you were "locked out of the house" you would try ANYTHING to get back in - sod waking the kids. Smash a window maybe?
Comment 3rd Feb 2012.
He wanted out – of the relationship, not out of life, well not initially anyway.
This indescribable tragedy could so easily have been prevented. What you want at 15 years old is not always what you want at 40. Things and people change, and the background to this situation was an enormous amount of pressure; his wife wasn't happy about the amount of time his job took up. This created arguments between them, which had been going on for a very long time, since he went into coaching and management in Sheffield, before getting the Wales manager’s job.
Some terrible things must have been said to him for him to become that low and extremely distressed. His state of mind was the culmination of arguments going back a long, long time and whatever was said during those arguments. It's not clear that he actually committed suicide, it could have been a cry for help (or even plea to his wife he couldn't cope with the hassle and pressure anymore) that went wrong. When you marry a footballer, you buy into the culture, reap the rewards: nice lifestyle, etc - but can't have your cake and eat it. Who paid for the designer gear and beauty treatments? Something has to give. Players go on to be pundits, trainers, managers because they love the game and giving up time is part and parcel of this.
The button was pushed just too far and someone knew just what buttons to push; emotional blackmail, threats of what would happen if he left, of not seeing the children any more, of being taken to the cleaners financially for starters, which led to guilt and more stress, more pressure, the vicious circle going on and on. So he would have wanted to spend more time in Cardiff, more time taking the kids out when he was at home to avoid it all and it all goes on and on again.
I am sure the children would rather have two parents apart and not fighting than one single mother and a deceased father. His parents looked completely destroyed and I feel so sorry for them and the two children. I just wish he could have told his parents what was going on and received the support necessary to prevent the eventual outcome. Unfortunately this was a very close-knit, enmeshed, extended family and whilst that is a positive, it also comes with the paradox of talking about the problems becoming even more difficult. It becomes more and more constricting and the way out receding further and further away.
Will love you always G and wish I had a time machine that went back to 2008 because I would sure as hell change things.
TAP Nicely put, anonymous. I am sure we all share your sentiments. It is just a little bit worrying in putting this topic to bed that key information accepted by the court was clearly not likely to be true. Many still instinctively feel that Gary killing himself is extremely unlikely. The lack of truth in much of the evidence presented at the hearing hardly does a lot to remove those doubts. It is clear that much of the communication going on was taking place by mobile phone.
We know from other fora that that means it was without question in the hands of newspaper proprietors and any others willing to pay the price of receiving such information. The knowledge that Gary was alone at night, bar the kids, plus the knowledge that he had threatened suicide, could open up an opportunity for anyone who was, for example worried about coming revelations in his autobiography, or who he was refusing to cooperate with as regards match-fixing.
I would love to abandon such thoughts, but we all know that people who text imagine themselves alone and secure in their exchanges, but they are not necessarily. In fact they could be opening themselves up to attack and passing over crucial information to anyone who wants to intervene in the situation, without realising it.
I would like to know was Gary safely in the house when Louise drove off. Or did he see her off and was about to walk in to the house when she left, unseen by her. Did he die at sometime in the morning, or was he dead by 1 am? I see no substantial enquiry going on into the events that took place, such as could put these kind of thoughts to bed. More's the pity.
Update 2.2.2012Comment from other post -
I really want to know the truth about this because LS's stories seem bizarre and fanciful.
I've been reading reports and am speechless to read the following two conflicting reports from two different newspapers: PARAMEDIC Michael Allan told how he and a colleague rushed to the Speed home after a call that there was "a male" hanging. He said: "I was familiar with the address and we got there as quickly as we could. We could see the garage doors were open and could see Louise standing by the garage. I went into the garage and saw the patient at the back. He was lying face down at the bottom of the stairs with his face toward the bottom of the stairs. We established he had last been seen at 1am and it was apparent that he was not breathing. The defibrillator showed no heart rate. Despite the low chances of survival, we gave him CPR for 20 minutes but there was no output. His face was blue and he was cold." From the Daily Mail reporting - "She cut her husband down on the instructions of the emergency services, but paramedics were unable to revive him". She confirmed at the inquest that this is what she did. Why then did she leave him face down at the bottom of the stairs???????
One would have thought she'd have rolled him onto his back, to check for signs of life or attempt CPR? In much the same way as a female paramedic would have done I expect? I could manage this with a 6ft bloke, what was going on??? The more I read the more distressed I get.
I would not have been found "standing by the garage" either if it had been me. I would have been totally distraught, beside myself, I don't really know what to say or think any more and I wish I could stop crying.
RIP sweetheart, you deserved far, far better than this. Louisa xx
UPDATE 30th January 2012 Link sent in byHETT
Gary Speed sent suicidal text in days leading up to death. Report by Lauren Riley, Liverpool News. Published Mon 30 Jan 2012 15:06, Last updated: 2012-01-30.
Former Everton footballer Gary Speed sent his wife a text message in the days leading up to his death "talking in terms of taking his life", an inquest heard today. Speed, 42, who played for Sheffield United, Everton, Newcastle, Leeds and Bolton, was found hanged at his Cheshire home last November by his wife Louise. Mrs Speed said that although he did describe taking his own life, he "dismissed" it because of his two sons.
The coroner recorded a narrative verdict of death by hanging as he could not be satisfied whether Mr Speed's death was an accident or him taking his own life. Police confirmed at the inquest, held at Warrington Coroner's Court, that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
Mrs Speed also revealed how the two "had words" on the morning of his death after attending a party. Following the argument, Mrs Speed went for a drive at around 1.15am, but when she arrived back home she could not get into their house so slept in the car until around 6am. She then went around the house looking for Mr Speed. Mrs Speed began crying when she recalled finding her husband in the garage.
No note or message was left by the former Wales manager.
Mrs Speed also told the coroner how her husband did not like being in the limelight, and how his travelling for work created quite a strain on their relationship. Mr Speed's mother, Carol, described receiving the news of her son's death as "the worst moment of my life."
Alan Shearer, a former team mate and friend of Mr Speed, told the inquest how there had been issues between Mr Speed and his wife but they were "being sorted out". He said: "I was shocked when I heard of his death, the last person out of I'd expect this to happen to, I still can't believe it."
Tributes poured in for Speed following his death, and many speculated that his death was due to a secret battle with depression.
TAP It seems fairly conclusive. The verdict was not conclusive, but the details of the story appear to support the suicide version. Much of the speculation on this blog seems to be misplaced, although there are two aspects to that. The demons in Gary's mind, if it was a suicide, had to come from somewhere, and his experiences as a young footballer at the hands of known paedophiles could still be a factor in his death.
The story is still odd, though. He threatened suicide by text message. That would almost certainly have been picked up by other people such as journalists, who are able to access his mobile phone. If someone had been looking for an opportunity to cause his demise, a texted suicide threat would create the perfect cover story.
It is possible he locked is wife out of the house, and then committed suicide. But......
Why didn't she have a full set of keys? She would presumably normally let herself in and out of her own house, and have all necessary keys to do so. That part of the story seems strange. Why couldn't she gain access to the house til the morning, and what changed at 6 am so she could get in at 6 am? If Gary was dead, who let her in - one of the boys? Not many teenagers I know get up at 6 am!
The lack of a suicide note, when he knew he was abandoning his young sons, is also odd. He had considered suicide, said Louise, in a single mobile text, but said he wouldn't because of his kids. I am still not 100% satisfied with the story, myself. And apparently neither was Louise, or the coroner. The Police say there were no suspicious circumstances. What was the information in their possession which decided them to not investigate at the time of Gary's death?
Anonymous COMMENT - METRO. "Mr Rheinberg said Speed could have 'nodded off' while sitting with a rope around his neck on the stairs in his garage." Of course he could... happens all the time.
Welshman sends - Wales manager Gary Speed's widow has told his inquest his job strained their marriage and they had an "exchange of words" the night before he died.
His wife Louise told the hearing in Warrington she then went for a drive, but could not get back into the house.
She spent the night in the car and in the morning found his body hanging in the garage at their home near Chester.
A narrative verdict was recorded after the hearing was told of the 42-year-old ex-Premier League player's final hours.
Four days earlier Speed sent his wife a text talking "in terms of taking his life", but she said she had dismissed it because of their children.
Mrs Speed said he did not leave a note. Det Insp Peter Lawless said his computer and phone were checked for a note, and none was found.
His friend, the former England captain Alan Shearer, who was with him the day before he was found dead, said he had become aware there were issues between the couple.
The hearing was told by the Welsh national team's GP, Dr Mark Ridgewell, that Speed showed no signs of stress and depression.
Dr Bob Muggleton, the medical officer at Sheffield United - the club Speed managed before taking on the Wales job - told the inquest in Warrington that he had worked with him until 2010 and no mental health issues were raised during that time.
The inquest was told about a dinner party hosted by a friend of Speed the night before he died, when he was in good spirits.
Speed had been pushed in the pool with his clothes on, along with other men, and he had tried to push everyone else in scenes of good fun.
He had also been talking of booking a Christmas holiday to Dubai.
Robert Bateman, the taxi driver who took the Speeds home, said everything had seemed normal and they were "as normal as they always are".
The inquest was told Speed had alcohol in his blood, just over the UK drink-drive limit of 80mg.
Anonymous COMMENT - louise's drive could possibly have been nothing unusual, if, for example, she was having an affair, as many people have suggested she was, with duncan ferguson. The row between louise and gary was not noticeable to their usual taxi driver, or their friends at the party. If she was in the habit of making night time excursions, this would also have been known to people who were looking for an opportunity to silence gary, simply by tracking text messages. what with the suicide threat, and a known moment of vulnerability in their schedule, an assailant or assailants could have decided this was the perfect opportunity.
Duncan Ferguson of Everton FC in 2008.
TAP The story of Louise going for a drive and not being able to get back into the house really doesn't stack up. When there is an element in a story that doesn't make sense, that gives a clue that there could still be more to this than has yet come out.
ANONYMOUS What I can't understand is the media records that Louise speed went to outside toilet at 6am in the morning after spending night in car and that is when she noticed keys to garage and shed we're missing. Now then if you knew there was keys to the garage in that toilet wouldn't you of thought she would of went for them when she returned from her little drive out to let herself into garage not sleep outside all night in car. Also why go around to back of garage why not just knock on front door or ring doorbell none of her story adds up to me.
WELSHMAN comments -
At the time, I remember Louise Speed saying she "couldn't understand it because they hadn't even argued". Now all of a sudden, there was quite a big bust up and she stormed out of the house and he locked her out? Did she really sleep in the car? Or had she gone somewhere all night and only came back at 6am? And a bit off point, but it seems she went for a drive after drinking?
ANONYMOUS Digital Spy have pulled a thread discussing this topic.... someone doesn't like people discussing that Louise's story just doesn't add up....
whatever it is,it stinks to high heaven.
GOD BLESS YOU GARY SPEED.

UPDATE 11th January 2012.
From comment -
Story on BBC website today about FIFA warning of the risk of players being killed by criminals involved in match fixing.
EXTRACT - Fifa is concerned for the lives of players approached by match-fixers, warning that they could pay the "ultimate price".
It claims governments should be wary of the presence of criminal organisations in fixing and the "staggering" sums of money involved.
Chris Eaton, head of security at Fifa, said: "We are very concerned about the safety of players [and] officials.
"There is anecdotal evidence that some players have been killed."
He added: "Match-fixing is all about stealing money. It destroys the lives and careers of many people. Governments should be interested because the amount of money is truly staggering.
"What are those criminal organisations doing? They are spending it on other criminal activities. They use money for power and power escalation.
"Unfortunately, because of the very nature, they can very quickly accumulate a large amount of money."
Fifa, football's governing body, will open a hotline for whistleblowers in February and offer a temporary amnesty for players who admit to fixing and give evidence.
Was Gary approached by the match-fixing gangs, and he refused to talk to them? It's possible. This was an earlier theory on this post. If they killed him to show other managers what might happen to them if they don't fix matches as requested, that would provide an explanation for his death.
That would not exclude other possibilities - that he was trying to come to terms with the earlier abuse he suffered at the hands of Barry Bennell, and he was going to make revelations in his autobiography, which was partly written and in progress. Criminals would also be involved in paedophile procurement, and would not want the industry exposing.
UPDATE 8th January 2012
HETT writes today -
Does someone so well-known really have the guts to name names?
Former Child Star Corey Feldman says: Paedophilia is rampant in Hollywood.
'I will reveal the names of TWO Hollywood paedophiles that abused me,' says Corey Feldman
Daily Mail follows the story.
Corey says that a lot of people in Hollywood think they are above the law, and it's got to stop. His friend died from drugs, he says, and the drugs were a way to cope with the fact he was raped by the movie moguls.
TAP - Let's hope Corey's not the next Gary Speed. One theory about Gary is that he was about to speak out about his abuse at the hands of footballing pedophiles when he was a young player. His autobiography was being written, as he said on his website. He was going to reveal in full all the reasons for the career choices he made. Then his strange and unexplained death occurred.
UPDATE 28.12.2011 On Boxing day, The Press started to admit there is more to this story. The Times, copied verbatim in The Daily Mail, writes -
In its leader, headlined: ‘Untold story’, The Times says: “If this awful event had taken place, say, a year ago, it is quite likely that we would know a good deal more about it. More of Mr Speed’s story would have emerged, and with it, perhaps, an enhanced understanding of his motives.
“But, as it is, we - including this newspaper - know very little, possibly a great deal less than there is to know.
“In the past, tabloids would......
TAP They are using this to put pressure on the Leveson Enquiry, and justify the paucity of their reporting of the case. They know they have lost ground with the public by not reporting, and they are showing some kind of jealousy against bloggers like The Tap where we have found out some information about Gary's past life and written about it. Hundreds of commenters have sent in leads which we have followed up. The role of bloggers is entirely dismissed by The Times (as per usual) - yet if it wasn't for bloggers like us, I doubt they would even be mentioning their own awful performance, let alone try to justify it.
They still haven't correctly reported the findings of the official enquiry into Princess Diana's death three years on. For that they have no excuse at all. The enquiry found she was 'unlwfully killed' and they said the paparazzi were nowhere near the crash. What did The Times report (and all other media including The Express)? They said it was an accident caused by the paparazzi....
Why should we trust the media?
Gary Speed's death is still inexplicable, and still unexplained. If it was a suicide as the media says (the Police merely said they would not be investigating the case with no explanation at all), why didn't he leave a note to his family? If he did leave a note, why haven't they reported the contents?
These questions will not be going away.
Gary was placed in the hands of a known paedophile operator and abuser of young footballers at aged ten. There has been no reporting of this fact. He was writing an autobiography, and his co-writer says that some chapters are complete. On his website he says that he was going to reveal the true reasons he made the decisions he made in his career.
He was laughing and chatting with Alan Shearer the day before he died, arranging dates when they would go on holiday together. He was talking about his sons. He didn't seem like a man who was going to commit suicide. People instinctively know something is wrong, as they did with Diana's death. We know the media won't tell us the truth if the powerful prefer the truth be kept secret. Let's not waste time listening to their justifications for deceiving Britain, which they do all the time. That's why we blog, because we don't trust the media. The Times doesn't like the competition.
There wouldn't be any if we could find out the truth by reading their acres of newsprint.
Keep sending in your stories, readers, for which we thank you. I hope we get more on Gary Speed eventually, as we did finally with David Kelly and Diana, even though it took many years. You won't hear anything on the TV, or read anything from the dead tree sellers, though. Revealing truth is not their business. The creation of narrative (adjusted information) is.
To hear their whining, you'd think they were more than fire-lighters and fish and chip wrappers. They are not and never will be. Think of the money you could save by getting rid of them, and your TV set. There are now alternative media, where news gets handled more openly and fairly. Millions are taking note, and millions more will be doing so. Writing 'mea non culpa' leaders isn't going to change a thing. The internet is nothing more than people talking to each other. If newspapers can't compete with that, it's time they started again from scratch.
Independent report on Barry Bennell - footballing paedophile predator.
The anonymous comment which notified The Tap of The Times/Daily Mail pleading for sympathy...
It seems that the obvious absence of investigative journalism in the wake of Gary Speed’s death is finally up for discussion in the media: http://thedrum.co.uk/news/2011/12/26/times-voices-concern-over-lack-mainstream-reporting-gary-speed%E2%80%99s-death Whether the press was truly ‘shackled’ by Leveson, or if it censored itself based on an actual plot to expose private details of his life, I wonder if we will ever know.
Another comment 28.12.2011
Surprised to see that one of coach Barry Benell's victims was abused in the home of Crewe manager, Dario Gradi. Further Google entries describe Gradi as a 'kiddie fiddler'!
UPDATE 11.17 am 6th December 2011. The co-author of the book, John Richardson, states that the book was not being proceeded with, as Gary told him it wasn't the right time to do it. Funny that, as Gary's own website was quite specific that he was proceeding with the book with some enthusiasm. See below.
From Daily Express - John Richardson writes Being asked to co-write his book, considering his popularity within the media and his standing in football’s society, was a huge honour. Typically, it was placed on hold because he felt he hadn’t done enough in the game and wanted to prove himself as a manager.
UPDATE 6th December 2011 6 a.m. - a comment According to his website, he was in the middle of writing two books (one an autobiography). (http://garyspeed.com/book.asp)
I am in the process of writing two books, the first will be my autobiography where, for the first time i'll be revealing the true detail of my career and the choices i made. Fortunate to play with and against some of the best players in the modern international game, i'll be giving an insight into their personalities and the person behind the player.
TAP This could well have been a factor in his death, and could offer clues as to how and why he died. Where is the manuscript/file? It should be in the possession of Louise. What will she decide to do with it, if it hasn't been stolen, or wiped?
This was the only ad on Gary's website. What might that be telling us?
UPDATE A.M. 5th December 2011
Comments overnight reveal a new angle. Was Gary a victim of paedophiles, starting to reveal what he knew?
Jermaine Micheal said...
On a website Rateyourplayer someone has posted a video showing a Dispatches report about Gary Speed potentially being molested as a kid. Have a look. It makes you think what kind of people are out there in the world.
Here's the clip - (dropped off in comments)
UPDATE - 17th December 2011
Comments below (from 210 onwards) reveal that a case in the High Court was stopping revelations of a sexual nature from three defendants against one claimant demanding a super injunction to silence them. The commenters suggest that the case has something to do with Gary Speed's death. They suggest that Gary was the claimant demanding the superinjuction. What if, in fact the assumptions made by the commenters are wrong, and Gary was in fact one of the three defendants, being barred from making sexual revelations? If he was about to go public on the paedophile abuse of young footballers, as he had suffered as a young footballer, that might be enough for someone who wanted him stopped.
His mind coaching from Jureshi would be a key part of his building up enough determination to take this on and fight back against the abuse he suffered as a boy.
Text of my reply in comments below -
Why assume Gary is the claimant? He could equally be a defendant, if he was involved at all. That would fit with the possibility he was exposing former paedophile abuse.
If you are looking to support suicide theory, he would be the claimant. If murder, he would fit better as the defendant.
His autobiography was in the process of being written. Maybe a group of famous victims were revealing what happened to them as young boys, and TPTB wanted the information stopped.
Here is the case report from the court which the commenters are diuscussing.
EARLIER POST continues
I work for a newspaper (printing side) it would have been totally impossible for a newspaper to decide in the early hours not to run a story.
Most papers have been printed and are on the way to distributors by 2.30- 3.am.
Why can't people just accept that Gary committed suicide without a big reason.
Why must a reason always be found? Sometimes people lose it in a split second of uncontrolled emotion or madness!
I met Gary when he was a player and manager at Sheffield united And yes he was one in a million and a true gentleman but he was still human, forget his past and what he had and understand that we all can have a crazy or scary moment and react without reason.
1.20 am Jermaine Michael. If Gary was molested as a ten year old, he could have been threatening to reveal more in the media, and the Despatches was just the beginning of an attempted campaign against the paedophiles.
This is the Achilles heel of the powerful elites that dominate the world. They all seem to have an interest in paedophilia. It's the recurring theme that won't go away, with Royalty, politicians (Dunblane/Hamilton) and central bankers. They see it as their right to acquire the children they desire.
This could explain why powerful people would want to murder Gary - to silence him. That would be a lot more of a possibility than him being worried about being gay - if in fact he was. On that front there are only rumours. Here is some stronger evidence of which way to look to find an explanation.
If Louise knows anything about what Gary was doing exposing paedophiles operating in football, she would now keep very quiet indeed. Is this what her strange tweets were about - looking to find the good in humanity? It would fit. She was aware of a great evil, and was trying to rationalise it.
Her Twitter account is now closed.
UPDATE 3rd December 2011 The inquest into Gary’s mystery death will take place next month. (Daily Mirror)
UPDATE - 2nd December 2011 5 am in comments.
The below content copied from the forum is rubbish. It has been printed in various papers, that he and his wife hosted a dinner party - two close friends, who apparently stayed the night.
TAP That makes more sense than the party being hosted elsewhere, as stated previously by a commenter. The MSM had nothing about the party yesterday. I take comments from all comers on here. The truth is not going to come out in the MSM, you can rest assured, so you have to look at all the sources that are available. I still wonder what did Gary do first thing each day? Go out for a jog like many sportsmen, or have a workout zone somewhere?
NEW INFORMATION sent in anonymously in comments 1st December 2011. 7 pm -
Don't know where this information came from or if it is valid - copied from a forum, link below
"The facts as they stand are these -
1. GS appeared fine on football focus.
2. Following a conversation with a co presenter it is understood that GS was going to a family get together on Saturday night.
3. At said get together GS and family arrive as normal.
4. GS found hanged at 7am by spouse when she arrived home.
Between steps 3 and 4 something went wrong. Wife and children stayed at the get together. GS did not.
Everything else is just speculation.
Did GS and wife argue?
Did GS receive text or phone call and leave party to deal with it?
Everything is nothing more than speculation and the only person that knows why GS is dead is GS.
Would a family party really go on until 7 am? I could accept that G left and went off to meet someone late at night on his own, and that that might have been the last time that his family saw him alive. But it needs confirmation.)
I would add -
5) Gary arranged to see Alan Shearer next weekend at Shearer`s home.
6) Gary arranged to take the family to Dubai for Christmas where they would visit an ex football player.
7) He was arranging with Alan Shearer for a holiday next year in Portugal."
From a thread on David Icke
TAP - There must be witnesses from the party who could confirm these details, or not.
EARLIER UPDATE 11.19 am 28th Nov 2011 - Was it suicide caused by media intrusion into his private life?
This came into comments below -
TAP - "...The commenter suggesting Gary was about to be outed by The Daily Star might offer an explanation for a suicide. But it would be nice to have a bit more to go on."
COMMENTER REPLIED - My explanation:
My background is in the field of private and commercial investigations specialising in Sports and Media. Includes a number of football clubs, agents, players and their lawyers. Contacts through all aspects of the audio and visual media...(not print).
Mr. Speed's sexuality has been known and kept under the radar for years. Our opinion is it is his OWN private business.
However, the void left by the NoW has left the door open to some other upstart print news media to fill that gap. If he had not been the Wales national coach I doubt that print media would have been interested as it would not sell newspapers.
However, with his MBE and current international management status (where he wasn't doing too badly) Mr Speed became fair game and newsworthy to them. Maybe they just wanted to crush his nice guy image.
There is still stigma associated with 'gay' players in football. Not necessarily from the clubs as we have found clubs are mega-supportive to their 'gay' players and allow them to be themselves.
A number of full England football players, Premier League players are of the Gary Speed mould. Polite, nice people and below the media radar.
Many younger players are not bothered about hiding themselves away when out socialising as they are not yet national household names nor spouting out telling people how to live wholesome lives, unlike some of the seasoned players, over 25.
TAP Maybe we are starting to get some answers, which could put our minds at rest about this shocking news.
The media operate for commercial reasons, I am sure, but also they can be politically directed. Why is it good business to trash a hero's status? It must be better for business to create heroes and sell news for the positives they represent. It is still possible Gary was unwilling to get involved in the more corrupt aspects of World Cup football, and they decided to go for his reputation for that reason.
This could be more a Hugh Grant scenario. Their reputations were getting too big. The guys weren't interested in the corruption of their profession for political ends, so they get trashed by exposure. If so, sadly Gary couldn't take the idea.

"When he was in the crowd we went up to the bar afterwards. He and his wife were in great form. He met everybody and he texted me every week to say good luck.
"He was a larger than life character, he's got a great family, his father Roger travelled all around the world to watch him and he's left behind two beautiful, beautiful boys. It's just so sad."
Robbie Savage was speaking to BBC Radio 5 live
Why would someone with everything to live for kill themselves?
Surely they would leave a note explaining why....There is nothing mentioned about a note.
If he's been killed, who would it be behind it? It can take years for the truth of these situations to come out. What did he know that had to be kept quiet?

What did Gary Speed know? Who wanted to silence him? This doesn't appear to be politics but who knows... prominent successful people don't just kill themselves. Mass media expect us to believe Welsh Football Team manager Gary Speed did just that.
Luke Donald tweeted -
Very sad news about Gary Speed. I've never suffered from depression but have had family that have. What a horrible horrible illness #RIPGARY
Was it depression?
Interviewed Gary Speed in June. Both sat on sofa in his room. He spoke about love for family more than anything. I left room admiring him.
Si Clancy tweet
Very moving interview with Mark Halsey on SSN, talking about how Gary Speed would phone out of the blue when he was going through his chemo.
That's not Gary's chemo, but Halsey's, presumably. There's nothing to explain or make the suicide seem plausible. Yet the world accepts the word of the Police. I don't see it, until there is some corroboration.
from what people are saying on the news and stuff, Gary Speed seemed fine yesterday! such a shock!
Yes, and very suspicious.
I can only think of one reason in the Speed case: Kiss n' Tell blackmail? Must happen often to professional footballers. Speed was a known family man and good person. He might not want his reputation damaged and his family hounded by the media.
Then again, that might not be right. Maybe he had inside info on something and was about to reveal all. Corruption in football? Sexual abuse in football? We look up to football players as heroes so we would like to believe the reason for his death was not selfish.
Telegraph still have their crime correspondent on the story
By Mark Hughes, Crime Correspondent7:39PM GMT 27 Nov 2011
"He was on “great form” according to those there and left the studio after making tentative plans to appear again on the show before Christmas."
"Police were called to Speed’s home in Huntington, Chester, shortly after 7am today. Officers discovered his body and a statement was released indicating that there were “no suspicious circumstances”.
7am in the morning at his home. Shouldn't he be in bed. Where was his wife?
So the scenario is he got out of bed and hung himself.......
Maybe he was approached about match fixing by a syndicate, and told them to clear off, and threatened to call the Police to dob someone in. Or the people involved wanted games fixing politically as in the World Cup, where referees seem to know the required result before the game starts.
Note this section from The Telegraph article -
Last week Speed travelled to Brussels to attend a fixtures meeting for Wales’s World Cup campaign.
His Saturday had started with a trip to Salford, to the BBC’s new studios, to appear as a guest on Football Focus alongside his former Leeds United team mate Gary McAllister.
Dan Walker, the show’s presenter, said that Speed gave no outwardly sign of any personal turmoil. Instead he spoke about golf and his two sons and even made tentative arrangements to appear on the show next month.
Mr Walker said: “He was on great form, cracking jokes and asking about my family and kids. He was talking passionately about the future. There was absolutely no indication at all.
“He gave me the impression that he was really looking forward to his kids growing up to be really good footballers and Wales qualifying for the World Cup.”
After the show ended, at 1pm, he met up with Match of the Day pundits Alan Shearer, whom Speed had played alongside at Newcastle United, and Mark Lawrenson to watch the early Premier League game between Stoke City and Blackburn Rovers.
Then, just before 3pm, he made the short journey to Old Trafford to watch his former team Newcastle take on Manchester United.
The match finished shortly before 5pm and it is thought Speed travelled back to his home in Chester where, little more than 12 hours later, he was found hanged.
TAP. Who did he meet in Brussels?
If he was murdered, it must have been someone who he let into his house, either a person he knew and was comfortable to let into his house, or someone in Police uniform possibly, who gave a good reason why he had to come in.
If it is suicide, then there must be a note and some evidence pointing in that direction. If it's a murder, the family will no doubt want to keep very quiet about it all, and be left to carry on without any more trauma. If there is a suicide note, we should hear.
BBC - Does his face show stress for a moment as the other commentator talks and he looks at the camera at the end? It looked more like fear or disbelief than depression.
ANONYMOUS COMMENT - Illuminati strike again, my theory is that the illuminati saw his acomplishments as the welsh manager. A member of the illuminarti (a free mason), aproached him asking him 2 turn to the darkside in return of world cup glory in 2014. If you look into it, this seems very possible.
TAP The music industry works that way. You keep onside with Satanism and the dark side hand signals, or you're history. Michael Jackson a case in point. Saying no to the Illuminati is not permitted at high levels. Gary was about to become a big star. Apparent suicide is their stock in trade, along with car crashes, and drug 'accidents'.
Here's an interesting article on a website, written in 2003 by Joe Vialls, questioning the convictions and treatment of Ian Huntley and Maxine Carr.
(For Gary Speed Latest scroll down one page).
There's also an interesting comment posted at the bottom of the Icke forum page about an invention that Huntley came up with before his arrest - have a look.

Joe Vialls Report
If we go back in the investigation three days, to August 13th, we can find a possible explanation for the police clairvoyance. On that day, a local jogger reported to the police having seen two mounds of recently disturbed ground at Warren Hill in Newmarket. These were thought to be shallow graves, and so must have looked like it. This same jogger had also reported, a week before, having heard child-like screams from this area three hours after the abductions, so that the timing and place are significant. The police had five hours of daylight in which to investigate this site but they spent all night there, in fact thirteen hours, and they didn't emerge until six thirty in the morning, "covered in twigs and soil" as a reporter put it, to announce that these mounds were only badger setts.
However, these mounds surely could not have been badger setts, as these would not be confusable with graves, and nor would it take thirteen hours to find that they were badger setts. Both were recent disturbances, and it is inconceivable that two badger setts or inlets could both have resembled shallow graves. They were 30 metres apart, and this must be too close together for badger setts.
The possibility that these mounds were actually where the police found the bodies would explain where the police acquired the forensic evidence, and why they were able to know that the girls were dead before the public found the bodies at Lakenheath. It would also show that the placing of the bodies at Lakenheath was part of the fraud against Huntley, because this is near the place where Maxine Carr had taken her adopted surname (a lake called The Carr) and where Ian Huntley's father and grandmother lived. This design corresponds with that of the forensic evidence itself, connecting the dead bodies to the defendants in the same way.
The discovery of the bodies at Warren Hill on the 13th of August corresponds with the finding of the coroner, who judged that the bodies had been moved to the woodland at Lakenheath and that the victims almost certainly had not been killed where their bodies were found. If the typical prowler killer had murdered them, they would most certainly have been killed where they were dumped, which site could have been at Warren Hill.
TAP - all links are blocked by Google. Here's the late Joe Vialls' Facebook page -
Joe Vialls (1944 – 17 July, 2005) was a conspiracy theorist and internet journalist based in Perth, Western Australia. His claims that major incidents such as the Port Arthur massacre, terror attacks in Bali and Jakarta and the 2004 Asian Tsunami were the work of Israeli and American secret agents gained a measure of notoriety in Australia, America and Indonesia.
Joe Vialls self-published a number of books including Deadly Deception at Port Arthur, The Murder of Policewoman Yvonne Fletcher and Lockerbie and the Bombing of Pan Am 103, and was the author of hundreds of internet articles.
Many of Vialls' investigations blamed significant world events - such as the 2004 Asian Tsunami - on joint CIA/Mossad operations, and Vialls maintained in disclaimers on his site that his reports were written in the interest of public safety. In other investigations, Vialls supposedly proved that such esoteric happenings as the death of Diana, Princess of Wales and a scandal involving the wearing of a swastika by Prince Harry were Zionist plots.
NB his name is Vialls not Viallis. Google seems to be trying to get people to get this wrong. If you key Vialls in a search, it brings up Viallis.
Malcolmd writes - At the time that Joe Vialls published his article on Ian Huntley and Maxine Carr back in 2003 I found his most damaging criticism of the show trial was his observation that the two bodies could not have been moved from Huntley's residence to that location immediately adjacent to the Lakenheath air base perimeter fence in his car because the boot was too small to fit the two bodies into.
Also when Huntley appeared on television news programmes he gave no outward signs of being agitated. Just the opposite he was trying to be helpful to the authorities in their investigations. When Huntley appeared in court his demeanour was totally different - that of a drugged junkie. He spent months on remand at Rampton waiting for trial. Vialls opinion was that the two schoolgirls were murdered by a US airforce sergeant who he named who was conveniently flown home to the US during the murder investigation.
I had email correspondence with Joe at the time and made a small contribution to his website fund. He mailed me back and spoke of his many visits to Hamble when he went sailing as a serving member of the Royal Air Force - he listed all the public houses in Hamble as well as the RAFYC. It is my opinion that his terminal illness was induced by those behind the scenes puppet masters who run the world. All his articles I found entirely credible and they stand the test of time. After his death his website remained online for a good three years. All recent links to his writings appear to be questionable.
TAP - August 2002 was the moment all British forces were being mobilised to send to Afghanistan. Were the girls murdered to create a news diversion? The story filled the media for weeks while ships were sailing from ports across the country unreported.
