Vicky Haigh and David Tune before they split. She has consistently stated that Tune was sexually abusing their daughter, who cannot be named for legal reasons.
Daily Mail - She denied the charge (of breaking the no contact order) but was convicted last month by a jury. Haigh was jailed on Friday at Sheffield Crown Court.
...last night one of her supporters, MP John Hemming, said: ‘This is a ridiculously harsh sentence for what was a minor technical breach of a court order.’
He added that it was ‘a waste of taxpayers’ money’ and an attempt to silence a mother who had disagreed with the family law courts.

In 2007 judges were granted the powers to jail offenders who breached non-molestation orders. The offence carries a maximum sentence of five years.
It is rare, however, for offenders to be jailed and is done so only when there are extreme aggravating circumstances. Haigh is expected to appeal.
The jail sentence is the latest twist in a five-year feud involving Haigh and Mr Tune, whom she accused of sexually abusing their daughter when they split up in 2006. It led to social services becoming involved....

This case is not unusual. I know several similar stories. The woman doesn't usually go to jail, because she does what she is told in order to avoid it, usually granted some access to the kids as a sort of bribe. Since Vicky has lost all contact, maybe she is prepared to take more risks with nothing left to lose. Taking residency (custody) away from the woman and giving it to the paedophile is another useful threat for the Courts to control women who are trying to protect their children. It is by no means always social services who rule. The judges and lawyers will twist the words of any report to make it read how they want it to read. Even in families who do not go to Court, and couples that are still happily together, you are subliminally controlled through emotional blackmail using your children. Once you open your eyes to this it is so damn obvious.

3 years in prison is what some murderers get.
3 years for a petty offence sounds about right for Doncaster, whilst proper criminals walk free.
Three years isn't enough for those who believe stopping paedophiles getting to their targets is the crime. They rarely get challenged and when they do, they have all the powers to lock away opposition.
