The Old Rectory in Kent has been erroneously named here.
The old rectory in banham norfolk was the school subject to an investigation and criminal proceedings.
The owner Mr George robson was ironically honoured for his work with children by Princess Ann shortly before the investigation started.

It may be coincidence but Jimmy saviles old pal Sir Anthony Blunt is in the news again, it turns out 3 of the little boys who named him as abusers at their care home died within a year, 2 within a month or so, these were now grown men in their sixties somehow i doubt if it was coincidence, that these men whistelblew about gay sex in orphanages all died in a short space of time

Jeez what a list, I'll bet a list showing no abuse would be a lot shorter. What the hell is wrong with this country?, it seems the gay mafia isnt something new. All us decent law abiding men should lower our heads in shame that we have let the perverts and homosexuals take over our land.

    Some good comments here .
The catholic church has been blown apart by gay scandals.
The C of E actually allow perverts to be preists as well.
The Spiritualist church has also seen many pedosrise to the top of its assoc.
My son was 6 when he came home from school saying he was being tought about gay sex.
This perversion is wrong wrong wrong.

I went to Garth House in Preston at about 7 years old (1977).

Alltho I do not recall being abused myself I do remember one night when a member of staff came into my room (shared by another boy).

I fell asleep to the sound of abuse, I remember hearing the member of staff (who was now in the other boys bed) saying "yes that is it, suck it like a lollypop or I will beat the fucking shit out of you".

I could go on about my further years in care, but I think this is enough, it sickens me, and as for the deaths of those who speak out about I have this to say.

Bring it on you dirty old fuckers, try your best, I will never ever tire of hurting you, be brave and knock on my door, it will be the last thing you ever do.

I was in Clwyd hall school and was abused by two male members of staff was bullied also by a mr Williams who became headmaster, I was bullied and abused for several years,,,, yet these convicts get silly punishments because they were government approved, myself I have not had a successful place in life, as im to defensive of myself in life as no-one was defensive of me during school life.... things were so bad when I turned 16 I changed my name by deed poll (and i'm now 47), so nothing would come back to me!, but now I see this and think its about time I came forward and help try and reconvict certain people, on behalf of all the poor lost souls who took there life because of there traumas,,, ( LET US ALL PRAY AND FIGHT FOR THE LOST SOULS THAT THEY ARE IN PEACE NOW)....I'm sorry im late with this but I've only just come across this problem, and thought I should voice my concerns..... the convictions that were given by the so called judge should be looked into as they were too lenient, maybe he was involved some way, as o know a father who hit his kids once and got 18 months sentence ,, so this was once , yet the abusers was constant for years and get silly sentences
anyway if theres anyone from 1972 to 1978 who would like

I was sent by my parents to Taxal convalescent home in Derbyshire circa 1959. I would not eat properly and consequently was underweight. My parents told me I would be there for 2 weeks, but there was a minimum stay of 4 weeks, which my parents lied about as they knew I would not go for that length of time. It was not a good experience. I have read some comments about other children's experiences both good and bad. I now only have a few recollections of my time there. Notably the particular smell of polish used for either the floor or furniture which I have recognised elsewhere over the years. More notable still is the memory of being sexually abused by a young male doctor. We both had an interest in electronic devices and he befriended me via that shared interest. I do remember thinking that as he was a doctor and this is a place where my parents have sent me, this must have been normal behaviour. I was nine years old.

I do not see Kerr House in Cosham being listed. I went into care to be safe from my parents, I forget the age.. I was in this home in the early 90's at around 13 years of age. I have a recollection of being thrown down a huge flight of stairs and a male member of staff sat on my back when I reached the bottom, whilst holding my arm behind my back. Oh how I'd love to meet these people again some day...

I was in Strawberry Fields from 1987 - 1992. I witnessed abuse, and was victim to it also.
It was physical, sexual, mental and psycological abuse.
My sister was abused, and she took the abuser to court, yet he got away with it, it was brushed under the carpet. She was moved to another home, and the abiser stayed, allowing him to carry on abusing more victims, including myself.

    That is my story

another one to add is Forest view children s home in Sutherland Rd southampon hants. I was there in the early 80's. so many things i could tell that happened there. but one that may have been a record of. I was in a room with another boy who was on a weekend visit to his home so I was alone that weekend.I was woken is the early hours, the room was turned upside down the other bed tipped over the wardrobe emptied out on the floor. the male house parent on duty was trowing things against the wall. When he saw i was awake he picked up a football scarf off the floor and wrapped it round my neck and pulled it tight. He told me to "close your fucking or im going to kill you". I closed my eyes and he started slapping me around the head and punching me in the ribs. He then got off me and left the room. He came back a few minutes later with one of the girls and showed he what he had done , then he and her went into his room. the female member of staff on duty heard the noise but stayed in her room. He was suspended for a couple of weeks for this but returned to work again. I was never asked what happened that night or was the girl whom he spent the night with. I guess the guy who did this is probably dead now or in his 70's 80's but if i ever met him again i would kill him on the spot for what he did us in the home. He did much much worse than this to me and others in the home but as far as i know this was the only thing that every resulted in any action being taken.

I was at Muntham house in Sussex from around 1960 to 1964,during which time I was subject to what I can only describe as years of terror, and being bullied, not by the other kids, but by certain teachers, being made to strip naked and stand at the pool, being beaten for something i did not do,I could go on,but it pains me to remember them.

Can anyone help? My partner was sexually abused at cicely haughton school wetley rocks around the years 1984 - 1987. He cannot remember his abusers name, although he says he definatly remembers what he looks like. The abuser in question was maybe a care taker who lived in, and preyed on these young boys at night. Can anyone provide me with a list of the names of staff during the 80's, or a link to where i can get more information from. He has come to a time in his life where he needs closure on this, he needs to know if this man was ever convicted of similar crimes, if he is now dead or indeed living the life of riley somewhere? Any information however small you may think it is would be very much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hello, I was in cicely haughtron barding school and left in 1984, I may well know you partner, I am now 41 and still do not have any closure on the abuse that I suffered. I am currently in the process of having my claims of abuse re looked at by staffordshire police, as much as i would like to help, I would say that you need to report the abuse in the first instance to the police. it would be highly inappropriate of me to give names over the internet and certainly to other victims who were abused in the same home. if the case ever managed to get to court, beleive me, defence barristers would have a "ball" in discrediting the victims along the lines of collusion. It is possible that I will know your partner and i would like to help, indeed, i have all the names recorded and have handed this to staffordshire police. The officer investigating my case is DC Sue Stanley of the Adult Protection Unit. Please, please, for the sake of yourself and that of other victims from that home, report what you know, with your help and others we can bring justice to those who have suffered under the terrible regime that cicely haughton in the 70's and 80's. I urge you to contact the police at the earliest opportunity. good luck for the future.

Windlestone Hall is missing from the list, I was there between 1985-1989 and was repeatedly subject to physical abuse over that period of time.
Has anyone else heard of this place, it's in County Durham

  37. Dennington College, Swimbridge, North Devon. I know it's already on here but it's named as happening in the 70's. I'd just like to clarify and confirm that it was going on in the early 80's as well. Messed my life up real good. Not to mention that this was all reported to the police as well and nothing was ever done.

    Woodlands Childrens Assessment Centre.
    Glen Iris Close
    Thomas Hill
    Canterbury
    Kent.
    In the 1980's.
Care Worker had sex with one of the girls when she return after going to a disco.
She told us (other girls) then locked herself in the bathroom and tried to kill herself.
Other staff overheard us talking about it and gain access and got her out, bandage her wrists.
Member of staff who did the act continued to work out his notice.
He told us "he'd be alright. He'd get another job doing the same thing he did then."
Can't recall his name now. Did know it up until I was 40. I have not forgotten the other children in 'care'.
I guess I wasn't 'suitable' material for him. He had come in my room at night when I'd 1st arrived but I had made it clear he wasn't welcome without realising his likely intention.

Hi did anyone go to Barwick House School, yeovil? My brother went there and was abused and witnessed abuse and maybe murder. Children went missing during the night without anyone hearing them leave no ambulance no cars nothing. There are not many boys left from this school, I'm am talking about the 80s, my brother has struggled all through his life with low self esteem depression and drinks or takes drugs to forget. He is in his late 40s and it is still raw, I support him as much as I can, but someone must be brought to justice, the council or the family who benefitted from the school.
