Happy New Nightmare

Michel Chossudovsky. Author 'Globalisation Of Poverty'

The “National Defense Authorization Act " (H.R. 1540) repeals the US Constitution. While the facade of democracy prevails, supported by media propaganda, the American republic is fractured. The tendency is towards the establishment of a totalitarian State, a military government dressed in civilian clothes.

The passage of NDAA is intimately related to Washington's global military agenda. The military pursuit of Worldwide hegemony also requires the "Militarization of the Homeland", namely the demise of the American Republic.

In substance, the signing statement is intended to mislead Americans and provide a "democratic face" to the President as well as to the unfolding post-911 Military Police State apparatus.

The "most important traditions and values" in derogation of the US Constitution have indeed been repealed, effective on New Year's Day, January 1st 2012.

I appear to have been banned from EU Referendum forums for this - a reference to the work of Alex Jones.

    That's it.

Now when I try to log in I get: "The specified username is currently inactive. If you have problems activating your account, please contact a board administrator."

What's up with EU Referendum? It seems like a free-thinking place yet they cannot stand any reference to Alex Jones.

  3. Richard North will ban people who mention Bilderberg, from my own experience, let alone Alex Jones. Sometimes you wonder whose side he is on.

He deals only in conventional history, opposition to the EU and support for military operations in NWO wars. Any mention of the real structures of power are off limits.

He works alongside Christopher Booker, but doesn't get involved with his anti-paedophile campaigning. It's not my bag, he claims.

He often suggests street violence is a good way to react to abusive political power.

    I'm suspicious,to be honest.

It seems strange that anyone would make a big deal of alternative media then ignore the largest, most influential (measured in millions, Ron Paul GOP candidacy, Talkers conference), fastest growing alternative media site there is - Alex Jones's Infowars.

It's almost as if it doesn't exist and the only alternative media that does are a few parochial English blogs.

I wondered whether he has cold feet from once being a more obviously neocon blog. I found EU Ref because I was a neocon-ish reader of littlegreenfootballs. EU Ref actually made me a more critical thinker than that. Eventually I found Alex Jones and your site. A large part of his readership base might still be old neocons, some whom might awaken.

So the blog is perhaps caught in a difficult position. It has this core support of dwindling neocons from old days, while elsewhere people are awakening to the fact neocons are the principle globalist minions and demanding this is reflected in alternative media coverage.

The blog could try to be ambiguous enough to keep neocons whilst attracting new readers who've not heard of Alex Jones, thereby maintain readership. A challenge like manoeuvring a large oil tanker in a mine field, I suspect.

I seem to remember the blog mentioned Alex Jones in at least one post though, in a mostly positive way. Perhaps that was to test the waters.

  5. It doesn't make any sense. That means there is another explanation. He was an EU researcher, nearly became a UKIP MEP but was stopped by Nigel Farage. He could easily be managed dissent, making a lot of noise and channelling a crowd into a harmless backwater, who otherwise might work out what is actually happening.

If that is true then it's not working. In fact, precisely the opposite must be happening. I used EU Ref as a bridge to find the truth. Surely others have and will continue to do so.

The blog's obsession with localism may reflect the fact they can't discuss globalism. Perhaps because the bulk of their readship came via links from littlegreenfootball years ago, plus more recently wattsupwiththat type links which would bring in a total assortment of new readers.

I think the blog's in a position where it can't pitch out to the truth without in the short term losing a whole lot of readers. It's a challenge like manoeuvring a large oil tanker in a mine field.
