No this isn't politics, for once. This is real life. Shane's started into labour with her first baby. It's incredibly emotional for us. We're off to hospital in a few minutes to get settled in ready for what comes. Friends have come with their car to take us in. If I am a little inattentive to the blog for the next hour or three, I hope you will understand. The comments have been veritably flying in this last two days, with endless fascinating stories and links.
Life is taking over from here. I'll report back any news, I promise. I'll be praying from hereon, a bag of wobbling irrationality. There is no other emotion that comes close to the joy of seeing your new born child. I'll check in later once a state of equilibrium is achieved. As Captain Oates is reported to have said,'I might be gone some time'!
But as this is the Philippines, there'll be a General MacArthur moment to follow.
'I shall return.'
UPDATE 3 a.m. 3rd January
Born at 2 am, a little bundle - not so little actually. A boy. Mother OK. He looked very alert as he looked around at the world he'd just arrived in. Thanks for all the encouraging messages and good wishes.
UPDATE
Philippine hospitals get paid nicely for vaccinating. They didn't wait even a day before needling their toxic trash into our newborn son. Six hours. (picture from google, not our son). They didn't ask permission as they guaranteed they would for all medical interventions not twelve hours ago.
This is what the b.......s put into a six hour old baby who hadn't even had a feed, or been held by his parents for more than twenty seconds. Engerix-B. It says on the bottle in big letters 'Keep out of reach of children'. Made by those charming people at Glaxo Smithkline. Says - see leaflet for details. The leaflet was not shown to us.
Our joy tempered somewhat by the actions of the paediatrician. As we were admitted, I was asked to sign a piece of paper which amongst other things reassured us that no medical intervention would take place without asking our permission first. Lots of pious sounding 'you can trust us doctors' kind of stuff.
Well, as per usual, you'd be wrong to do so.
Our son was delivered by the paediatrician to our room this morning all smiles, with the announcement she had just administered a large dose of the neurotoxin mercury into his tiny body, a few hours after his arrival in the world.
I reminded her that the terms of our entry included a specific clause that we were to be informed of any medical interventions, and our permission sought. Her reply was that the Hepatitis B vaccine is compulsory in the Philippines so she didn't need to our permission.
She then asked if we would be prepared to trust her and the hospital. See Mercury, Autism and Your Child's Health.
The answer flatly is no.
The Asian Hospital in Alabang is working a total deception. They treat patients not like human beings with their own mind and ability to decide their own health issues, but like cattle on the way to the abattoir. In fact worse than cattle. They actually deceive people by lying about their intentions so you have no chance to defend yourself. I see a criminal level of intention about this deception, and not surprisingly, I am not happy.
Jesus! the poor guy's not even hours old, and they've got their poisonous thymerisol-based vaccines needled into his blood stream, killing nerve tissue and hindering his brain development.
I'm returning now to the administrative section that gave me all the false reassurances last night as we were admitted. I read their document very carefully, and actually discussed the issue with the desk clerk. She was slightly evasive while answering the questions I was posing to her.
I now see why.
AS REPORTED TO THE INQUIRER
Sirs,
Asian Hospital Alabang has deceived a patient about its intention to vaccinate a new-born baby.
The father of baby Sean, born at 2 am today, Briton name name demanded a verbal guarantee as well as the usual written guarantee, as given to all patients as a matter of course, that no medical intervention would take place without first asking permission of the parents.
The terms of entry and guarantee to all patients is displayed publicly in the admissions section, clearly stating that patients have the right to notification of all medical intervention.
PARENT OF BABY
Our baby was born at 2 am, alert and healthy after a long and difficult labor. My wife Shane Milay a Filipina was only 39 kilos pre-pregnancy and was 54 kilos at moment of birth. She successfully delivered the baby without Caesarian section.
I was devastated when within hours, the paediatrician declared she had already injected mercury (thymerisol in the Hep B vaccine) into the baby. Mercury is a powerful neurotoxin which damages brain and other functions as is made clear by many medical practitioners. She should have asked us for permission in any case, let alone the fact that she was in direct breach of the hospital's own terms of admission, and the discussion I held with admissions last night.
I have informed the hospital administrators that they are in breach of their own terms. Our contract is voided. I have asked them what they intend to do to stop others from being injected without consent in future.
I would also like to know the basis on which the Philippine government is compensating/rewarding paediatricians for administering this vaccine.
I claim this fee be returned to us, plus damages for the abuse of trust we have endured. The paediatrician concerned and the hospital should not be rewarded for carrying out deliberate deception, injuring newborn babies without permission of their parents.
I would also ask if it is now the common practice throughout the Philippines for patients to be vaccinated deceptively, or is this just The Asian Hospital, Alabang? If so people should be warned not to come here for medical treatments as I have done. It slightly destroys the reason for coming here in the first place. Trust is a minor factor, I believe in medicine. Now it is gone.
Alternatively, I demand a letter of apology for the deception perpetrated from The Directors Of Asian Hospital, Alabang. In addition I am seeking a change in policy nationwide in all Filipino hospitals on deceptive vaccination, if this is indeed a national policy as the paediatrician alleges.. From all hospitals associated with the Asian Hospital I demand the agreement to notify parents of babies before all vaccinations or any other medical interventions, giving them the option to leave the hospital or not enter the hospital - with immediate effect. After all that is what they promise in large letters in Admissions.

Heres hoping it all goes well Tap. Best wishes to you all!
ReplyDeleteJust missed a New Years Day birth!
ReplyDelete.. and remember, you can't send them back.
I spent Christmas with my grandchildren and as much as I love them, I am absolutely exhausted. They have so much energy and they are so loud, my nerves are shot.
The youngest is going through the terrible "2's" and his favourite thing to do at the moment is emptying his nappy when he's done a poo at night and smearing it everywhere.
Love and best wishes Sue x
All the best! Despite the pain and the lack of sleep, it is a time of the most immense joy. Quite curious to know how birthing in the Phillipines differs from here. If you have any time for reading, Sheila Kitzinger is good on birthing stuff. Also Deborah Jackson "Three in a Bed" and Jean Liedloff "The Continuum Concept" on non-OWG ways of raising your child.
ReplyDeleteGood luck!
ReplyDeleteHere's an interesting report on the revolution trainers. They all tend to work from a book by Gene Sharp, and the blueprint of the Serbian uprising against Slobodan Milosevic. A Serbian called Srdja Popovic is one of the experts. He travels around countries explaining the necessity of music, clothing and songs, the symbol (raised fist) and other manufactured elements of these globalist "revolutions".

HETT
Yes, HETT - very not nice experience to be so deceived and lied to. The paediatrician just had to get her hands on that vaccination fee. Any lie will do.
ReplyDeleteFirstly, congratulations to you both on the birth of your son - may he bring much joy and happiness into your lives. Parenthood is certainly an interesting experience!
ReplyDeleteReally sorry to hear about the vaccination decpetion, and I hope it doesnt affect the little tyke - good luck with taking them to task.
Congratulations! He looks like a beautiful healthy baby to me! Takes me back. One thing that got me through some tricky moments like your vaccine thing, is the idea that you can counteract the bad stuff with a bigger dose of good stuff, like a seesaw or weighing scales. So make sure baby gets plenty of holding, human warmth and touch and some good feeding going, and you will all be fine.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Julia. We are four in the house now plus Mum-in-law arrives in a couple of days. He's getting lots of holding and cuddling from all sides. The picture is not our baby by the way. That's just a google!
