Twitter Attack!

I haven't looked at my twitter account for months. I went in two days ago to see if there were any trending stories I needed to catch up on, when I found I had become a Spanish teenager. My list of followers is small at around 125, although it contains a few surprisingly famous individuals who presumably like reading The Tap Blog.

My following list however was dramatically up since I last checked in, up from about 175 to 2000 plus. And the funny thing is I didn't click any of them, not even one. They were presumably put there for me by some helpful person from the internet anti-bloggers dirty tricks department. They are all in Spanish, and seem to be the kind of stuff that a 16 year old might follow, not a dyed in the wool hardened middle aged blogger, who's spotted that 911 was an inside job, and is wondering what else the bastards are up to, using their conspiracy-follow-the-instructions mentality.

February on The Tap Blog was a blockbuster getting possibly around 700,000 page reads. That has attracted all kinds of blowback, too boring to recount. My God the fools are even trying to sabotage my Twitter account!!!! I suppose the blogger sabotage department don't have much to do all day, stuck behind their PC screens from 9 til 5, looking forward to the weekend. They can fantasise about Spanish teen idols and pretend it's work. I'm sure I'd do the same if I was in their shoes. It's not very flattering, though. They've set the babies on us. We deserve to be taken more seriously than this. I can't be bothered to delete them all. What a bore!
