Amish Dairy Farmers Threatened With Guns For Selling Milk

“I’m troubled by images of armed agents raiding Amish farms and preventing them selling milk directly from the cow. I think we have bigger problems in our country than sending armed FDA agents into peaceful farmers’ land and telling them they can’t sell milk directly from the cow.

The Amish were right all along! Ha ha !

They new the world outside, with it's indulgence, temptations, lies and BE would all end in tears - and they were right !

Look for the social stats for Amish - divorce, suicides, drink, drugs, general wellbeing; all amazingly good compared to the filth of the world outside. We are the fools !

It's kind of weird driving through America and going through an Amish area, like going back in time.

I believe that you can still buy unpasteurised milk in Britain, direct from farms (they're not allowed to retail it). Unfortunately, there are none in my area, but I keep meaning to visit one of the farms that still sell it, on my travels.

  3. Sorry, Road Hog,
It's only very recent that Irish farmers were banned by the EU from selling their milk at the gate, so I'm pretty certain this ban is active in England as well.
