Tap ,
When I tried to load up your blog this morning - I got a malicious website warning from Virgin media – it claimed the website was involved in an online scam or something similar. I was able to close down the page , then re-load – but it took a couple of tries. I hope you’re not up to something dodgy like trying to expose a corrupt media and banking system .

I'm a Virgin Media customer & I didn't get that message when I came here, probably just a glitch.

TAP - We are barred at schools, colleges, libraries, under 18 and corporate sites. Imagine where we'd be in e-Buzzing ranking without all the attempts to stop us. Here's a 12 Year old kid who seems to have no trouble handling the truth.

The way the web interference works is deniability. If every Virgin customer got the message, we'd be screaming blue murder. The fact that only a few do, keeps traffic numbers down, but it can be passed off as a glitch.
We are told of many things like screen freezes. Page won't go down. Can't get through. And so on. Some no doubt are glitches, maybe Virgin was this morning.
But there are too many signs of strange things happening for it all to be 'glitches'. As we always say, we'll keep writing anyway. Just keep calling in as you can. Virgin welcome too.

I can view your blog in my local London library no problem
ReplyDeleteI am pleased to hear that!
ReplyDeleteThere is no easy way to define control grid measures on the internet. They are of course deniable.
There are ways to cut traffic to 'malicious' sites. We are banned to Under-18s. as a reader told us, unless it's been lifted. Libraries cannot carry material that is banned to Under 18s.
