The new Republic of Kanata is being launched in Winnipeg on January 4th.  In England, the Republican movement is active but underground currently.  The Constitution granting full sovereign power to Parliament was created in 1649.  The Monarchy was reestablished by a military coup against the will of Parliament, and Charles 2nd imposed on the throne against the will of the people.
Britain has had an illegal monarchy since 1649.  The state uses naked power to impose itself, but has no legitimacy.  There is no need for any legislation to establish the Sovereignty of Parliament and remove the Monarch.  The law still lies on the Statute Book.
