
PM Erdogan is losing favor in places where is party was once strong. The entire intellectual class, the middle class, have come on the same side of the fence against Erdogan and his creeping islamism. I don’t know how that reflects on conservative islam but theprotests continueto grow as they enter its 6th day.

In that respects it reminds me of Egypt but we all now know that did little to actually change the situation in Egypt for the better.
